From NOLA with Love

I was thrilled to hear from my friend Sara that she was taking a trip to New Orleans to visit friends last weekend, I knew I couldn't pass up the opportunity to go visit some old wonderful friends before I left for Atlanta. We drove down Thursday and stopped in Slidell where she was from and had some AMAZING food at Copeland's for her stepsister Christina's birthday with her brother and sister and law and nephew Payton. It was delicious! Reminds me how much I miss that place when I'm not in Louisiana!
Spinach and Artichoke Dip with fried Bowtie Pasta:

And it wouldn't be dinner at Copeland's without Cheesecake!!!

New Orleans was a ton of fun. We spent most of our time gaining 10 lbs, catching up with friends, and drinking, isn't that what you do in NOLA??

See... Friends.

Best Cheese Fries I have ever had.
@ the Bulldog

Sucre on Magazine Street
AMAZING Desserts.
I had the Cupcake Gelato

Food!!!

Salu's On Magazine Street:
HIGHLY Recommend.
If you have never been, you must make the trip.

More food...

Reginelli's Pizza.
They weren't kidding when they told me I was about to eat the best pizza ever.
The Quattro was amazing. I don't know what seasoning they use, but I wish I could have taken it home with me!

I had such a blast eating my way through New Orleans with my crazy friends.
Bet you are hungry now aren't you!
Too bad you have to drive 6 hours to eat any of it!

xoxo,

Chapters

As some of you know I am a speed reader, anyone who has ever been in the room while I was reading a book has probably noticed or commented on how fast I can finish a novel. Lately my life feels a lot like one of those books. It feels like I'm speeding through it. In less than a year I have gone from Birmingham, to Huntsville, lived in 3 different places, met so many new friends, said goodbye to some old ones, gone from being in a long term relationship to being single for the longest I have been in years, learned my likes and dislikes, had so many adventures. Today closed another chapter. It's so weird to me to think that I will no longer be at bebe at Bridgestreet. Most of you know my job is one of the most important things in my life, so for me to go from the Summit to Bridgestreet was very hard on me. It was a huge work in progress, and thanks to my Partner in Crime Ashleigh, we turned that store into a raging, amazing, success. I have not been more proud of any accomplishment in my life except for raising my little sister. We poured blood, sweat, and tears into every single day, and we made it. Now it's time for us to move on, and try our lives in a new city. As we locked up the store today it was bittersweet. I felt like a chapter in my life closed, that feel good chapter... A chapter of success. The chapter you don't want to finish, but you know that the next chapter just has to be filled with something even greater. I would like to thank Ashleigh for all the success I have had these last 9 months, without her, I would have been drowning in the work that was put before me here in Huntsville. I can't wait to see how successful we both will be with our new endeavors, and hopefully bebe life brings us right back together again. I leave Huntsville and take to Atlanta a bright new outlook on life and an excitement like no other. Maybe I will learn there how to pace myself and not speed through the next chapter of my life like the last.

Bandwagon Blogger... SURPRISE

I guess it's time for me to get back on the old bandwagon. Time to blog regularly. I'm going to pledge to take time out of my crazy life to blog from now on! Pinky Swear. Why now? you might ask. Well for those of you who don't know. I have some really crazy news.
I'm running away from home.
Well.. kinda. I'm moving away less than 2 weeks from today. Life throws you curve balls, and lord knows I have had more than my fair share in the last few months. Gotten out of a long term relationship that just wasn't working out, been trampled on by a "best friend", gained a new one, met so many new amazing people in the last few months I can't even count. But now is the time to move on. God works in mysterious ways, and he just worked it out perfect for me to take a job in Atlanta.
No worries... I'm still your go to bebe girl. Promise Promise. I don't think that will ever change. maybe I'm a lifer. In two weeks you just might have to travel a little farther for my fashion advice or take it over the phone. I plan on using my blog to not only update my wonderful friends and family about my crazy adventures taking over Atlanta, but also my clients, because we allll know you still need your bebe fix.
But for the next few days I'm going to enjoy time with all of my wonderful friends and family, and I encourage you to do the same. The people who care about you and love you are what are most important. Cherish that. I know I will be soaking up the next two weeks here in Huntsville like a sponge. My goal is to laugh and cry more in the next 2 weeks than I have in the last two years, and thank you to everyone of you who helps me make that goal.
xoxo
